  5.                         Joystick read me file
  6.  
  7. This text file lists all the programmable joysticks files that have been
  8. written for Longbow Gold.  All of the files are in the JOYSTICK directory
  9. on Longbow Gold CD #1.  To load the files, copy the relevant file into your
  10. joystick's or input device's directory.  Then consult the documentation
  11. that comes with the input device to load the file.
  12.  
  13. There are two files for each input device.  One is for the basic
  14. functions of the game with the less realistic options on (the Default
  15. setting). The other file takes advantage of the more advanced keys and
  16. functions of the game.  It is recommended that you play the game on it's
  17. full realism settings for these files.

  19. Again, all the files listed below are in the JOYSTICK directory on Longbow
  20. Gold CD #1.

  23. THRUSTMASTER DEVICES

  25. LBWCSA.MDF  - File for the ThrustMaster WCS MkII, analog throttle
  26. LBWCSA.ADV  - File for the ThrustMaster WCS MkII, analog throttle
  27.            Note: You must copy both of the above files into the
  28.            MARKII\PROGRAMS directory. (This setup is for an analog
  29.            throttle.)

  31. LBWCSD.MDF  - File for the ThrustMaster WCS MkII, digital throttle 
  32. LBWCSD.ADV  - File for the ThrustMaster WCS MkII, digital throttle 
  33.            Note: You must copy both of the above files into the
  34.            MARKII\PROGRAMS directory. (This setup is for a digital
  35.            throttle. Do not select "throttle" in the Controls menu.)

  37. LBFLCSD.B50 - File for just the ThrustMaster FLCS in default mode
  38. LBFLCSR.B50 - File for just the ThrustMaster FLCS in realistic mode
  39.  
  40. QLBTQSD.B50 - File for the ThrustMaster FLCS and TQS in default mode
  41. QLBTQSD.M50 - File for the ThrustMaster FLCS and TQS in default mode
  42.             Note: You must copy both of the above files into the
  43.             TQS\PROGRAMS directory.

  80. Please note that some input devices have DOS-based programming utilities
  81. that cannot be run in Windows 95.  You may need to reboot to DOS to load
  82. or program these input devices.  In most cases, after the device is
  83. programmed, it will function fine in Windows 95.  Please consult the
  84. input device's documentation for instructions on changing or adding
  85. functions.

  87. If you recive errors while trying to load the files that you have copied,
  88. you may need to change the attributes of the file(s) copied.  For example,
  89. if you copied the CH Throttle file, LBCHD.KEY, to the throttle's directory,
  90. you will want to enter the appropriate directory and type:
